This workshop will offer an overview of health issues for transgender and gender diverse youth- including finding support, social transition, puberty blockers, reversible options, feminizing hormones, masculinizing hormones, surgery, dating, and general wellness. Participants are encouraged to bring questions. Many young people receive health information from friends, or from the internet. This workshop will provide an opportunity to discuss health concerns with a doctor experienced working with transgender youth.
