Lee Schwartz lives, writes and teaches in New York City. She tells her story in the PFLAG Safe Schools program. She has an essay in TRANS BODIES,TRAN SELVES, Oxford Press. She has the first poem in a collection, Writing Fire, Green Fire Press. Included in HOW POETRY SAVED MY LIFE, Trigger point press. She is included in many journal collections and is the two time winner of the Allen Ginsberg, Paterson Literary Prize. Served as Artist in Residence at the 92nd Street Y in NYC.
